We are a social club with the emphasis being on shooting for fun rather than competitively. We run a club competition on the 1st Sunday of each month and do attend as a club organised competitions once or twice a year.

Welcome to the Gipping Valley Archers Website
Based at Claydon High School in Suffolk our club is open to all those who are interested in taking up archery, getting back into the sport after a break or for those moving to the area.

Taster Sessions and Beginners Courses
The taster session and beginners course fees cover all aspects of the course including equipment hire, insurance cover and general wear and tear to pieces of equipment.
Equipment Hire and Target Fees
For new club members we are able to loan club equipment out until you have had the chance to decide on what kit you would be interested in purchasing yourself. Kit can be loaned for up to 12 weeks.
Equipment Hire - £3 per session
Visiting archers who are members of another club (proof of membership of Archery GB or other recognised body required) are able to pay a target fee to cover the cost of wear and tear on general equipment
Target Fees - £3 per session
Club fees are due anually by the 1st Sunday in October. Fees are charged on a pro rata basis so members joining throughout he year only pay for the months they are part of the club for rather than the entire year.
Fees shown below include club fees membership of Archery GB as well as fees payable to County and Regional archery associations.
Fees can either be paid in full at time of joining or renewal or in monthly installments of £10 and a single payment of £54.50 for adults or £21.50 for Student/Junior rates.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, standing order or bank transfer
